The UPEI Panthers improved their winning record to 6-0 on Sunday when they hosted Acadia and defeated them 67-64. Today's game was much closer than Saturday night's and the Axemen held a one point lead at the end of the first quarter but UPEI quickly took cotrol in the 2nd quarter to stand ahead 46-36 at half. The 4th quarter Acadia kicked into another gear and outscored he Panthers 17-7 but it would not be enough to win.
UPEI's Donathan Moss was the games high scorer with 21 points and 10 rebounds, followed by Acadias Owen Klassen netting 18 points and an outstanding 17 rebournds.
