The UPEI Panthers had their revenge Friday night at the Chi-Wan Young Sport Centre over the UNB Reds 99-76 after losing to the Reds just a week earlier. The Panthers jumped out to an early lead and held steady for the entire 40 minute winning every quarter. Read more at The Guardian.
For the Panthers, 5th year senior Manock Lual poured in 27 points and ripped down 11 rebounds. Jonathan Cooper added 16 and Terrance Brown 15 to help round out the scoring.
Alex DesRoches was tops for the Varsity Reds with 25 points and 8 rebounds followed by Jordan Irvine adding 13.
The Panthers head to Dalhousie Saturday morning for a 8 pm start time.
