The UPEI Men’s Basketball team were looking for a split on Sunday vs. Saint Mary’s and in the first quarter it looked very possible as the Panthers lead 18-13 and looking very strong. The Huskies came to life in the second quarter and took the lead at half 34-30.
The third quarter was all offensive for both teams as they scored a total of 53 points between the two and SMU with 32. The Huskies won the match up 90-70. High scorers for UPEI were Mitchell McQuade with 18 and Nick Towes with 17. UPEI hosts MUN this weekend on Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 3pm.
