Women’s Self Defense Program

The paradox of self defense is that the more prepared you are, the less likely you are to need it.  When you can recognize and respond effectively to potentially dangerous situations, you are more confident in your every day activities.  You are also less likely to become a target of crime.

Hockey Panthers Toupin and Savage named Wave Athletes of the week.

Women's Basketball

Playing their final games of the year, the winless UPEI Panthers were hoping to surprise one of their final two opponents this weekend and pick up a victory as they close out the season. Acadia had other plans as they met on Friday night taking a sizable lead early on, on their way to winning 66-44.

Men's Basketball

UPEI (3-13) kicked off a five-game homestand against the Axemen (5-10), hanging on to the final playoff spot with Acadia just two points ahead of them in the standings.
After falling 102-85 to Acadia, UPEI has to win at least two of their final four games to guarantee a spot in the playoffs hosted in Sydney next month.

Men's Hockey

SFX first year forward Ryan Sparling knocked in a loose puck in front of the UPEI net 12:14 into double overtime to lift the X-Men to a 3-2 win in Game 2 of the AUS quarterfinal series as X wins in two games straight over the Panthers.
