Soccer players Kinza Baker and Nathan Snowie are the Wave UPEI athletes of the week.
UPEI’s The Wave Athletes of the week are both from basketball, Andrew Black for the third week in a row and Susanne Canvin. The UPEI Basketball teams each earned a split and upset the Cape Breton Capers this weekend with the men winning on Saturday 97-95 in an overtime thriller and Sunday the Lady Panthers took the Capers 81-79. Both CBU teams were ranked last week in the CIS top 10.
