Tessa Roche with the Womens Soccer team, ends season leading the AUS and all time leading scorer of UPEI and on the men’s side Matthew Carter with the hockey Panthers sits tied for first in points for the AUS.

Tessa Roche a fourth year striker from Charlottetown, PEI, finished the season with three goals which was enough to earn her the AUS scoring title and become the all time leading scorer for UPEI. The former UPEI leader was Janelle Blanchard who is now the assistant coach with the Panthers. With an entire season in front of Roche she only needs six goals to break the AUS record. The best part of the weekend was the win over St. Mary’s that earned the Panthers second place after regular season play and a bye to the semi’s on Saturday when they play in the AUS Subway Soccer Championship being held at Memorial University in Newfoundland.
Men's Athlete
Hockey Panther, Matthew Carter is this weeks Wave male athlete of the week. Saturday night in the Panthers loss to Acadia, Carter scored his seventh goal of the season and added three assists. He now leads the AUS in goals and is tied for first in points with two UNB players. Carter is a second year business student from Mississauga, Ontario
