Soccer Players Jennifer MacLeod and Nathan Snowie named Athlete of the Week

Women's Athlete
The Wave Female Athlete of the week is Jennifer MacLeod from the women’s soccer team. MacLeod a graduate of Colonel Gray is enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts program. At the CIS Championship held in Toronto, she defended exceptionally well against TWU and in the game versus X she tortured the back four, all game creating several opportunities for herself and the team. She had another great game on Saturday night versus UofT and worked hard box to box all game. The Team finished 6th overall and won the Fair Play award.
Men's Athlete
The Wave Male Athlete of the week goes to third year soccer Panther, Nathan Snowie.  He is from Stratford, PEI and is in his fourth year of Business and is a 2009 Academic All Canadian.  Nathan played strong in the back during the grueling AUS Championship held on Monday then flying straight to BC where they played Laval in the first round and lost a close game 3-1. Laval went on to win the CIS Championship Banner. Snowie was named a 2nd team All Canadian for the second time in his career.
