Fitness Classes

PIYO fitness classes extended until mid-May. The popular PIYO class has been extended until Thursday, May 17. Lead by Fitness Instructor Bernadette Currie, the class combines the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility of flowing yoga movements. Use your body weight to perform a series of continuous, targeted moves to define every muscle.

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12:10—12:50 pm
April 10—May 17
Fee: Sports Centre members - FREE; Non-members - $6 + hst drop in rate

All participants must check in at Panther Central desk prior to attending class.


Cycle classes

Description of classes

  • Cycle Fit – Tuesdays, 4:30–5:15 pm, May 15–July 3. Instructor: Bernadette Currie (NOTE: 8 classes) Fee: Sports Centre members $68+hst; non-members $80+hst 
  • Cycle n' Barre – Fridays, 12:10–12:50 pm, March 9, 16, 23; and April 13, 20 and 27. Instructor: Bernadette Currie. (NOTE: only 6 classes)  Fee: Sports Centre members $51+hst; non-members $60+hst 
  • Cycle n' ABS - Tuesdays, 6:30–7:15 am, May 8–June 12. Instructor: Brittany Stephen Wright.  (NOTE: only 6 classes)  Fee: Sports Centre members $51+hst; non-members $60+hst

Specialty fitness classes (yoga and kettlebell)

A variety of classes which require pre-registration 24 hours prior to start date of class. Eight classes per session.

Fee: Sports Centre members $47 + hst; non-members $60 + hst.
Drop in fee: $10 + hst per person, per class.
Note: Sports Centre drop in passes not accepted for fitness classes.
